You're shifting into something new, and you don't have to figure it out alone. I'm here to help empty nest moms move past loss and embrace what's next.
You're facing an empty nest, menopause, aging parents, a marriage that needs more energy, and your new role as a mom. It's a lot, all at once.
This is the place where you gain understanding of all the moving pieces and prepare for what's next.
Let's retire the term "empty nest syndrome" and the images of loss it carries. Your nest isn't empty. It's changing, often in exciting ways. If I could create a new phrase for this stage of life, I'd call it full flight. Your children have left (or are leaving). Like a growing bird, they are in full flight. But, full flight isn't just about them it also applies to you. This time as you transition to an empty nest is about you and what is possible, so that you are also ready to soar.

YOU. All of your decisions are based on what is important to you. Together, we'll uncover what your core beliefs & values are and how they guide you.
Your partner, friendships & relationship with your grown kids are all changing. I encourage you to learn, evolve, & build a supportive community to balance these changes.
Ikigai - a place of happiness found in the cross section of your passion, purpose, & knowing what the world needs from you. Discover these parts of yourself.
Many parts of midlife are defined by loss. These inlcude the empty nest, menopause & ending relationships. Rewrite those stories to path the way to other possibilities.

I’m an educator who has worn many hats throughout my career. What remains constant is that I care about creativity, relationships, and supporting women. My journey has taken me from a Master's in counseling psychology and a graduate certificate in parenting education.
Today, I'm here to help empty nest moms face one of life's big transitions, their empty nest. My goal is to think of this time in a positive way, versus the sad/lonely image of an empty nest. In this work, I like to call myself a life transitions educator.
The work I love most is leading intimate support groups, so we can learn from one another. I believe small groups lead to insight, connection, and change.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me outdoors—swimming, biking, running, walking, or cross-country skiing. If I'm inside, I may be listening to an audiobook or baking. One other place you may find me is at a pool teaching water aerobics.
I’m a proud mom of two grown children who are living on their own.
I share my days with my husband and our rescue dog, Phoebe.
